Select Coincident. In the past it has been awkward to select objects that were coincident, that is two objects which touch each other. Now in Vectorworks 2012, we have the ability to select objects that are coincident.

You will notice that when you go close to two or more objects which are coincident, the cursor will have an asterisk next to it.
